The pilgrimage begins as you depart from Delhi and embark on a scenic 7-hour drive to Haridwar, the gateway to the Char Dham Yatra. Upon arrival, visit Har Ki Pauri, one of the holiest ghats in India, where the sacred Ganges River is believed to wash away sins. Witness the Ganga Aarti, an awe-inspiring ritual where thousands of diyas (oil lamps) float on the river while priests chant hymns and ring temple bells. After absorbing the divine energy, check in to your hotel for a restful night.

After breakfast, depart for Lakhamandal, a historical site associated with the Mahabharata. This region is believed to be where Duryodhana attempted to burn the Pandavas alive in the Lakshagraha (House of Lac). Visit the Lakhamandal Shiva Temple, known for its beautifully carved stone structures and sacred lingams. After seeking blessings, check into your hotel and relax for the night.

An early morning drive takes you to Janki Chatti, the starting point for the Yamunotri trek. Choose to reach Yamunotri Temple by walking, horse, or doli (palanquin) at your own cost. Upon arrival, take a holy dip in the natural hot spring of Jamnabai Kund, believed to have healing properties. Offer prayers at the Yamunotri Temple, dedicated to Goddess Yamuna. After darshan, trek back to Janki Chatti and proceed to Barkot for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, drive to Uttarkashi, a town known for its spiritual significance and temples. On the way, visit Prakateshwar Mahadev Temple, a sacred shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva. Upon arrival in Uttarkashi, explore the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, one of the most revered temples of Lord Shiva in North India. This temple is believed to be a replica of the Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi. After seeking blessings, check into your hotel for a peaceful nightβs stay.

An early morning drive takes you to Gangotri, the sacred origin of the Ganges River. Upon arrival, take a holy dip in the Bhagirathi River, believed to wash away all sins. Visit the Gangotri Temple, a beautiful white marble shrine dedicated to Goddess Ganga, where you can offer prayers and seek divine blessings. After darshan, drive back to Uttarkashi for another overnight stay.

After breakfast, drive to Sonprayag or Phata, where you will check in for the night. The next morning, start your 22 km trek from Gaurikund to Kedarnath, either on foot, by doli, or on horseback at your own cost. Kedarnath Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, is located amidst snow-capped Himalayan peaks. Participate in the evening aarti and visit the sacred Samadhi of Adi Shankaracharya. After a night stay in Kedarnath, trek back to Sonprayag, where you will check in to the hotel for another overnight stay.

After breakfast, drive towards Badrinath, one of the most important Char Dham pilgrimage sites dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Upon arrival, visit the Tapt Kund (Suryakund) for a holy dip, followed by darshan at the Badrinath Temple, an ancient shrine surrounded by the Neelkanth mountain range. Later, explore Mana Village, the last Indian village near the Tibet border, and visit sacred sites like Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, Charanpaduka, Bhimpul, and the Saraswati Riverβs origin.
